During the Summer of 2014 we had all set up for the launch of our latest and most innovative product to date: the U10W, a convertible tablet with great specifications aimed to break the low cost Spanish Tablets market.
We had to do something special to give conscience of the great opportunity, and we really did it!
Starting at an incredible launching price of 299€ and including an ad-hoc slick and well designed Ultra Slim Cover with wireless keyboard seemed more than enough, but how to gain our target consumers attention in time?
As Creative director along with the Marketing Department we developed a campaign aimed to really engage our customers in advance to the launch. We used all the tools on our hands, both Online and Offline to really boost our chances.
The tablet was sold out a few days after it was launched! Since then it has been in production for new units several times.
It’s still the most successful product for the company developed in that range of price.
Campaign Elements (OFF)
We hired advertising space in some tech and leisure Spanish publications, in order to promote our new line of products, giving special attention to our featured product, the U10W.
I got the chance to design engaging creativities in full page format, something i hadn’t done for a long time.
Video Reviews and Prescribers
We got in contact with some of the mayor tech influencers on the spanish panorama, and we sent them a free of charge model for them to try. In exchange they offered us free written and video reviews on their publications and channels.
Campaign Elements (ON)
I developed a full package Digital Marketing Campaign, which included several elements
The main core of the Digital Campaign was a microsite developed in HTML5 & CSS3 to present the product. It included Video background, slick one-page navigation, gallery and video review and a direct link to our store.

Using Mailchimp as our main tool we also delivered engaging newsletters to our database customers announcing the special offer, and encouraging them to spread the word.
Special advertisement was delivered on Social Media ( Twitter and Facebook), and we did a strong promo campaign during the previous weeks, and a quiz contest awarded with a free unit of the product.
